One I enjoyed recently is the 2021 release of "The Suicide Squad".

Overflowing with gore & violence which I'm normally not a fan of but this movie was a lot of fun & laughs!

Another 2021 release I liked was "Saving Paradise". Matter of fact, I think I got the heads up for this one here on the chat board (MuchoMusso?).

Free Guy 2021

we greatly enjoyed this movie. The story. CGI, acting and music made this sci-fi, action, romantic comedy, hit all the right notes.

Watched  2021 movie tonight called Copshop.  IMDB rating 6.3.

It was a lot of fun. Got a little far fetched toward the end but still a very enjoyable movie!

I watched a 2014 movie tonight called "Pride".  IMDB rating 7.8.

It's set in the U.K. in 1984. Margaret Thatcher is in power and it's the early days of HIV/AIDS. The National Union of Mineworkers are 4 months into an ugly & messy strike.

A group organizing the local gay pride parade feels that the abuse & harassment the miners are experiencing is not much different from what they experience everyday so they decide to organize a fundraiser to raise money in support of the mineworkers. 

While the mineworkers are desperate for help they are not sure they want it from a bunch of faggots & dykes.

In my humble opinion this is an absolutely must see movie! What a great show!

We watched Badlands (1973) withe Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek tonight. 4 of 5 stars.  If you’ve never seen it I recommend it.

I watched a movie the other night called "The Outfit".        2022        IMDB rating 7.1

I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in ages. Very highly recommended!

Wife and I went to the cinema to see the film The Northman. It is a viking story that if you're not careful could confuse you as it is not the hollywood viking saga but a look at the real deal viking of the period. A bit gory here and there but well worth the price of a ticket to see.

We're really forward to seeing The Northman, too.

We watched The Batman last weekend and I have to say it is one of the best versions yet. I wasn't expecting it to be so good. Robert Pattinson  was outstanding. It ticked all the boxes for me. Story, Acting, Directing, Editing, Music, Wardrobe, Sets, Lighting and I could go on. I enjoyed it very much.

I stumbled across a movie yesterday called "All Quiet On The Western Front"    2022    2hr 28 min      imdb rating 7.8 (99k votes)

It's a war movie and I am not at all a fan of war movies (with a couple of exceptions such as "Das Boot" and "1918") but the reviews and the trailer convinced me to give it a shot.

Some of the reviewers have called this movie 'A Masterpiece'.  I agree with them!

The original movie was German but there are lots of versions with English audio & subtitles.
