Founder Merlin Posted September 17, 2021 Founder Share Posted September 17, 2021 LIME RICKEY Muddle up some fun with an old-fashioned Lime Rickey, a classic vintage mocktail that’s as refreshing today as it was in its soda fountain days. INGREDIENTS: 1 Lime Cut Into Wedges 3 Tablespoons Sugar 1 1/2 Ounce Fresh Lime Juice 8 Ounce Soda Water INSTRUCTIONS: In a cocktail shaker, muddle all the lime wedges with sugar, until the lime wedges release their juices, and sugar and lime juice become syrupy. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice, add lime juice, and shake vigorously. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass, top with soda water, and stir. Garnish with a lime wedge or a lime twist. 2 Quote Link to comment
Kath
I love limes and that looks fabulous, I could drink that right now. I used to buy fresh lemons and limes, but they are really expensive here and don't keep forever, so I started to buy bottled lemon juice instead, I don't know if they sell bottled lime juice because that would be neat. But nothing beats the fresh stuff. 1 Quote Link to comment
