Chamberlain dvernb Posted June 21, 2021 Chamberlain Share Posted June 21, 2021 On July 20, Amazon's founder and billionaire magnate Jeff Bezos and his brother Mark will board the New Shepard suborbital rocket system. The Bezos brothers, one auction winner with $28 million to spare, and a fourth person will become the first crew aboard the reusable rocket for its 11-minute voyage to space. Since Bezos made the announcement about his journey to space this month, tens of thousands of people have come together to petition against his return to the planet. There are multiple petitions out there, but the front-runner, "Do not allow Jeff Bezos to return to Earth," had collected more than 33,000 signatures by late Sunday. "Billionaires should not exist," the description read. "On Earth, or in space, but should they decide the latter they should stay there." Bezos is the founder of the space exploration company Blue Origin, which built New Shepard. The rocket is reusable and has capacity for six passengers in its capsule. Lol. Makara
keep Bezos where he belongs the guy is a space cadet "Billionaires should not exist," on second thought who ever said the above should be sent on a one way trip to mars .... you cannot put a cap success like or loathe him he has created hundreds of thousands of Jobs in America and around the globe and he is paying way above the minimum wage for doing mundane unskilled work to put a cap on success is a central communist ideology ... seems to be communism/socialism is taking root in America 2 Quote Link to comment
Chamberlain Popular Post dvernb Posted June 22, 2021 Author Chamberlain Popular Post Share Posted June 22, 2021 I agree that there should not be a cap on success and I also agree of course that Communism is very bad. Socialism not necessarily so. It seems that Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that Socialism is a fate worse than death. It is not. You may be surprised to learn that Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Japan, Australia, Italy, Canada, Norway, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Belgium, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands are all Socialist countries. They are all also Democracies. If you check all the polls on where is the best place on Earth to live you will find most of these countries are at or near the top of the list. Food for thought . . . 3 Quote Link to comment

Food for thought . . . it's not really socialism it's what we in Europe call social fairness so that no one is left behind, we are all capitalist economies take national health services they keep workers working for longer which is more beneficial for our economies in the long run and for social well being Quote Link to comment
