Following the arrest of Constance Marten and her partner Mark Gordon, police search allotments in Brighton for their baby. The pair had been missing with their child since their car was found burning in Bolton, Greater Manchester, in January. Marten and Gordon are due to appear in court after the body of a newborn was found in woodland on Wednesday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales went head-to-head during a spin class at the Aberavon Leisure and Fitness Centre in Port Talbot, Wales. They were helping to raise awareness of how sport and exercise can support mental health and wellbeing.

Conservator Krista Blessley works on the restoration of the Coronation chair, at Westminster Abbey in London. The 700-year-old chair used in the coronation of monarchs is being made ready for the crowning of King Charles III in May.

Revellers embrace ahead of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. The parade began in 1978 as a march to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York, and has been held every year since to promote awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered issues.
