I had an Italian neighbour, she named one of her sons Jonny, or so I thought.  Maybe it was Gioni and we English didn't know.  I like to think so.

 as an Italian-speaking Swiss, I assure you that in the Italian language 'Gioni' is not the name of a person. It's just the phonetic transcription of the English pronunciation of the name Johnny
